ROTHKO INSPIRATIONS

My exhibit at the Works Gallery in New York City was inspired by Mark Rothko, an artist whose paintings are well-known throughout the art world.

These images are made by compositing sections of photographs and editing them with a digital pen to create the color combinations and textures for the background. Images of a trees were merged with the background using advance masking techniques.

The limited edition prints in this series are made on Hahnemühle Photo Rag® fine art paper. They are presented with a white border for the title, number and artist signature.
